What’s the difference between Z and telescoping brackets? Z-brackets are rigid and fine for small indoor mirrors. Telescoping brackets have an adjustable arm that gives the mirror play in wind — mandatory for outdoor use and strongly recommended for 18″+.
Does acrylic yellow in the sun? Our acrylic is UV-stabilized. Unlike low-grade imported mirrors, it will not haze or yellow over normal outdoor life.
Can I get a custom SKU? Yes — if your size, backing, or bracket is not listed, contact us for a custom quote.

What is a convex mirror and how does it work for safety?
A convex mirror curves outward to expand the field of view. It helps people see around corners, vehicles, walls, racks, and other obstacles. Convex mirrors are commonly used at driveways, alleys, loading docks, parking garages, warehouses, and blind intersections.
Why are convex mirrors recommended for driveways, alleys, and parking garage exits?
These areas often have blocked sight lines caused by walls, fences, vehicles, landscaping, or tight turns. A convex mirror gives drivers a wider view of cross traffic and pedestrians before they pull out, turn, or back up.
What is hardboard backing and where should it be used?
Hardboard is a pressed wood backing intended for indoor environments where the mirror will not be exposed to moisture or weather. It is an economical choice for indoor stores, hallways, offices, and facilities, but it should not be used outdoors.
Is hardboard backing suitable for outdoor mirrors?
No. Hardboard backing is not weather resistant and is not recommended for outdoor use. Exterior mirrors should use HDPE or galvanized steel backing to handle moisture, temperature changes, and environmental exposure.
