Mounting Options for DomeVex Mirrors
DomeVex mirrors mount vertically like a standard convex mirror. Choose the bracket style that fits your wall, post, or pole — the same hardware works for every DomeVex diameter.
Z-Bracket Mount
A fixed wall bracket for smaller DomeVex mirrors in protected locations. The Z-bracket bolts directly to a flat surface and holds the mirror at a set angle. Best for indoor walls and columns where the viewing angle does not need field adjustment.
Single Telescoping Mount
One adjustable arm extends from the wall or post to the mirror. The telescoping arm lets you fine-tune the viewing angle after installation. Use a single arm for mirrors up to 26 inches in sheltered locations.
Double Telescoping Mount
Two arms share the load and reduce mirror sway in wind or vibration. Recommended for 26- to 36-inch DomeVex mirrors, especially outdoors where gusts can shift a single-arm mount over time.
DomeVex Backing Types
The backing protects the rear of the mirror and determines where it can be installed. DomeVex mirrors are available in two backing options.
Hardboard Backing
Lightweight and cost-effective for indoor installations. Hardboard is the standard backing for warehouses, hallways, and other dry, climate-controlled spaces.

No. Despite the name, a DomeVex mounts vertically on brackets and aims like a convex mirror — it does not hang as a pendulum or screw flush to a ceiling the way full, half, and quarter dome mirrors do. It ships with Z-brackets or one, two, or three telescoping brackets.
